Comic #879

Lookout! It's a flashback WITHIN A FLASHBACK! *turns inside out*
And now, a list of the characters referenced in the last page and the comics they belong to.

The creature Clair is holding is Puppy the Basilisk from Johnny Wander:

The white cat with the jacket is Krosp from Girl Genius:

The fluffy kitten ball with antennae is a Mow from DMFA (Dan and Mab's Furry Adventures):

The white salamander is Grandfather from The Meek (Warning: First chapter is Not Safe for Work due to non-sexual nudity):

I don't think anyone spotted Artie the Gerbil from Narbonic (He was the smallest of the plushies): There were several Narbonic gerbil plushies actually created during the comic's run, and many of the readers had fun taking pictures of the gerbils in unusual places and scenarios, so I thought it might be fun to have one appear in the Archipelago.

On the other hand almost everybody spotted the Squiddle from Homestuck (Kind of NSFW for young teens swearing at each other a lot): There was also a line of real plush Squiddles made to raise relief funds for the earthquake in Japan.

The giraffe is not a reference, but is based on my real stuffed animal Jeffry, who survived being shorn, covered with band-aids, and being used as a club.

All of these comics are worthy of your support, but if you'd like to support Archipelago in particular, you can vote for it in the top 100 webcomics list:

I recently got an account on Tumblr and I feel I need to share this with the world here. Mostly I'm using it to post unfinished fanart stuffs but I occasionally post something to do with Archipelago.

Also a reminder that I have a Formspring account to answer any questions anyone may have here
and a Deviantart account that serves as a secondary place to post Archipelago pages and finished art projects of mine here.
If you support Archipelago you can vote for it in the top 100 webcomics here.
